H.A.A.R.P. and geography

Ok. It seems that so many people have read too many sci-fi books that I find myself forced to clear some things up. This blog here is the start of my concern

H.A.A.R.P. is an ionospheric research facility, and not some super weapon that some people do believe.
They do have some transmitters and receivers, none of which are in Iceland, despite otherwise sited.

H.A.A.R.P. is not causing earthquakes in the world, simply, because the transmitted power is by all means not enough to cause any affects on the earth, nor it is in the right frequency spectrum to have any affect on earth’s resonance frequency.
If we look at the effective radiated power, ERP, we do see that they produce about 3.6MW. Which is a whole lot of power. However, this is pointed directly at the sky, and via reflections in the ionosphere’s layers, the radio waves do return to earth at some places (quite random, actually, or at least, with such inaccuracy that it would be impossible to beam at some country rather than other). The attenuation in the ionosphere, especially the D-layer in daytime causes the power to be reduced significantly.

These facts are well known from the world of radio telecommunications and especially known by military communication operators and Amateur radio operators.

In the previous blog I linked to, it is stated that there are connections between H.A.A.R.P. activity and earthquakes in Iceland.
Perhaps, looking at some favorable graphs, we could get that result. That is, however far away from the truth.

The truth is that Iceland sits on the boundaries of the Eurasian tectonic plate and the North American tectonic plate.
Which causes Iceland be have constant earthquake activity, as well as frequently volcanic eruptions. We also have geothermal activity which we use to heat up our houses, which would not be possible unless for these conditions.

Earthquake in Iceland, is by all means not something that was invented with the H.A.A.R.P. project.

I could write a lot more ’bout this subject, but I’ll rather leave it be for now. However I will answer any questions that may arise and of course, if I find myself forced to write more, I will do so.

The comments need to be approved, but as long as it’s kept within sensible boundaries I will not censorship it.
